There are two pendulum stringers. We need the upper one. It consists of two fiber end-pieces connected by two flexible strips of metal. It measures about 3/4 inch by 1/4 inch. You are probably laughing by now, but I don't have much else to offer. I'm going on the assumption that Daneker is a well known name, and parts like what I want don't change much from model to model.

I can get it too tick, rapidly, without the pendulum, but it will not tick with it, nor will it continue to swing after I tap the pendulum to move it. I wound it and leveled it. any suggestions? We inherited this clock from Chap. and Mrs. H. Heuer, who bought it from you about 1965 from (I think) Mr. McBride. We are looking to replace the weight chains as the links are spreading and not riding correctly on the cogs. Then the clock does not chime and we have to loosen them.

2 of the 3 windup springs have slipped and can no longer windup. The time spring works fine. The other 2 can be wound a little, so the chimes work a little. Is there anywhere to get a replacement or can the hold stops be fixed. I took the top off and there is no obvious hold stop as the springs are encased in a metal cylinder.

Daneker “President”. I believe I have all the papers with it, with no date or serial#. Did they serial number these (inside) the clocks? Can they be dated? It’s a beautiful maple clock and runs spot-on. I was raised in northeast’s sugar maple, beech, yellow birch region (SMBYB) and would love to learn more about theses clocks.
